BatangRizal (Laguna) Organization induces “BR Production” - the POWER OF MEDIA. BR Production is a group of selected BR members that aims to engage the public to have the identity of a handful outlets that is dynamic cater to gain the adversity of a purposeful scope of facts, methods of learning in news and current events, research and investigation of cultural context, gives service and broad once knowledge in the deliverance of a mass communication and coverage of various activities and events. This group was established due to the intense urge of finding a municipal identity and as part of a valuable avenue for the promotion of Rizal, Laguna’s Municipal Landmarks and had undergone a rigid seminar–workshop under the supervision of Mr. Ronnie Mirasol, a renowned journalist of Laguna. Being born within a town dearly named after our National Hero, this variety of people, which is not mostly seen in other groups, gives BR Production its willingness and heart of patriotism to share their God-given talents – talents that Dr. Jose P. Rizal also have.
A writer, an artist, a leader - that’s some of the qualities that we associate with Dr. Jose Rizal. In our generation today, we can see these characteristic traits within the BR Production Team. Initially, BR Production was just composed of directors, researchers and other technical staffs to accommodate its task of invading the local cable channel through presenting audiovisual presentations and other related media forms. But up-to-date, in line with the extensive promotion of our town (Rizal, Laguna) caused a need to expand its working force which now include: directors, production managers, home-grown talents or performers, technical staffs (which include the lights and sounds crew, photographer, videographers and arts and effects designers), as well as a food committee (which duty is to manage the food during the events).
BatangRizal Production gives a powerful impact to create advance technology in the promotion of business establishments which gives stability to our municipal government. It is a helpful process which gives information to reach people in a modern mass media technique. This channel of communication serves a variety of entertainment with specialized appeal, displaying messages, and serve as a vital link in the historical heritage that will be traced.
One thing that makes BatangRizal Production unique is that not all organizations are able to form such group of intellectual and talented people from different sectors and age groups who are willing to render their services for free just to give way for Rizal, Laguna to find its identity and distinction. No wonder we can say that these people are as dedicated as Dr. Jose P. Rizal, committed in serving the people for their common good, for committing one’s self is a way of finding out his/her identity, as how BR Production helps identify Rizal, Laguna’s identity.
It is a significant aspect that performs education; shaping public relations and advocating a particular representation of the town of Rizal. As an educational tool, BR Production not only imparts knowledge but can be part of larger efforts to elevate actions having social utility.
